The RAC investigate the UK hotspots for cars more banger than bang!
The RAC have done some investigation and it makes very interesting reading!
London and Birmingham have been outed as UK hotspots for unroadworthy cars, according to new Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) figures. Select Car Leasing
prompted the enquiry and found that over a 1/3 of cars are failing their MOT due to basic safety checks NOT being carried out.
Motorists driving dodgy vehicles (brakes, tyres and steering) are among those who’ve been prosecuted since 2016, with fines of up to £5,000.
